September 2009

Fall is in the air! I am hoping that as kids get back into school and rhythms return that we can start seeing each others faces more regularly. It might be fun to plan out some other social outings or extra things to do with one another this fall at one of our up and coming meetings. Ideas: apple picking, pumpkin carving, listening walk in the evening before daylight savings time, fall party (bring the husband's).

One of the core members that helped launch this group is unavailable on Tuesday's starting this month and I would like to propose moving the group to a different afternoon but wanted to get some feedback from people before doing that. Are there any specific afternoon's during the week that work best? Does this time frame work for people? Do we want to keep doing it every week or do it every other week? Any other ideas or feedback? We did this as a summer trial and it seemed to take off and we have enjoyed one another's company, so I would like to keep it going but am open to suggestions. {Leave your feedback/suggestions in the comments section or email me @ shanel.martens@gmail.com}

Next meetings lined up:

September 8th, Tuesday @ 3:30pm at 418 W. Ridgeland Avenue (use the back door)
